TrendWatching and Business of Purpose recently collaborated with 200 Marketing & Sales students of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS/HvA) on a student project to spot and innovative solutions to COVID-19 from all over the world, as well as to develop new ideas to combat the crisis.

Together with mentors from TrendWatching’s and Business of Purpose’s network, the students have compiled over 500 innovations from diverse world regions and industries. During an online conference on Thursday, June 11th with around 200 participants, the most remarkable solutions were shared by students in seven breakout sessions. Furthermore, the students invited keynote speakers from the world of business and social impact to talk about the effect of COVID on their work and lastly presented their own creative concepts and ideas.

A voting during the online conference for the best innovation spotting as well as the best student initiative led to the following concepts and students to take home the win:
