Non-profit, volunteer-based service LifeCrate delivers subsidised food crates to low-income Torontonians aged 65+

Recently launched LifeCrate provides 75,000 calories worth of food in one crate, allowing for one month of nutrition at little cost for elderly people (65 years old and more) earning low-income and living in Toronto. LifeCrate is worth $185 in store but is sold for $75, as the non-profit covers the rest of the costs.
